This Northern Virginia kitchen remodel by Fineline Kitchens pairs gray stained recessed-panel cabinetry with warm wood and brass. A natural wood shiplap range hood sits between glass-front cabinets above a Bertazzoni induction range, and gray and white patterned tile runs from the countertop to the ceiling.

On the window wall, a white fireclay farmhouse sink with a champagne bronze faucet looks out to a covered porch, framed by chunky wood floating shelves and brass sconces with seeded glass globes. An under-cabinet outlet strip keeps the tile free of wall outlets.

The center island seats three on wood stools and holds a prep sink, a built-in wine fridge and a microwave drawer. Turned legs and seeded glass globe pendants on brass rods finish it off. Tall pantry cabinets with brass appliance pulls sit next to the French-door refrigerator, and the kitchen opens to the family room and dining room. The project also includes a powder room with a matching gray vanity, gold-framed mirror and patterned tile accent wall.
