This Vienna, Virginia kitchen remodel delivers a bold two-tone design built around white shaker perimeter cabinetry and a contrasting navy blue island — a combination that reads both classic and intentional. The island features decorative turned legs, a thick quartz countertop, and seating for six with rattan bar stools, making it the functional centerpiece of a large open-concept space.

Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry with integrated Sub-Zero refrigerator panels and a custom painted range hood anchor the cooking wall, while white subway tile backsplash, recessed lighting, and globe pendant fixtures complete the design. Dark hardwood floors run throughout, tying the navy and white palette together with warmth.

The kitchen opens directly to the living and dining areas — a layout that Fineline designed around the family’s daily use rather than a standard floor plan.
