Kitchen Remodeling — Arlington, VA
Project Overview
This Northern Virginia kitchen remodel by Fineline Kitchens mixes white and gray cabinetry with warm wood and brass. A natural wood shiplap range hood sits over a KitchenAid gas range, framed by glass-front uppers and marble-look subway tile. On the window wall, a farmhouse sink with a brass bridge faucet sits under a skylight between two brass sconces, next to an X-mullion glass cabinet over a stack of drawers.
The gray island has a white veined countertop, a wine fridge and seating for three on wood saddle stools under glass globe pendants. Gray pantry cabinets with brass pulls surround the Samsung refrigerator, and a coffee station with an under-cabinet outlet strip keeps the tile free of outlets.
The project carries past the kitchen into the rest of the main floor. A mudroom with herringbone brick-look tile has a built-in bench, coat hooks, a reclaimed wood shelf and tall storage cabinets. A pocket door opens to a walk-in pantry with dark wood cabinets, open shelving and pull-out wire baskets. A laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer, a utility sink and patterned tile completes the work.
